First partial lockdown in the city of Abuja.

As the Nigerian government announces just few days back its partial easing lockdown due to the global pandemic  COVID-19.  The capital city “Abuja” was observed as many residents trooped out in their numbers to carry on some of the essential service and also transact few business.

Among such services that was open to the public after a long 4 weeks of total lockdown, the banking sector was highly patronized, as citizens trooped in their numbers to their various banks to transact business.  But not as they expected, as some of the bank branches were closed in spites of government directives to render service to the public.
Obviously social distancing was never observed as the crowd at the bank premises could not control their anger due to the slow pace being rendered by the banks. One of such banks was the Abuja cooperate headquarters of the “Guarantee Trust Bank” (GTBank), located in Area 3, Garki- Abuja. Only a single branch was opened to the public hence the much crowd recorded at the scene.
