“Harold Williams “ The Man Who speaks more than 57 foreign languages.

New Zealand journalist, Harold Williams, born (1876–1928), have been widely acknowledged to have speak over 58 languages, including English and Old Irish, German, French, Hungarian, Czech, Albanian, Serbian, Rumanian, Swedish, Basque, Turkish, Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, Tagalog, Yoruba, Coptic, Egyptian, Hittite, and other dialects.

He is believed to have studied the Bible in 26 languages, including the African languages ; Zulu, Swahili and Hausa.

At the Treaty of Locarno in December 1925, he was able to converse to every delegate member of the League of Nations in their own language.
